Template Driven
The appearance of DyKIDo web pages is template driven. This means the look and feel, colors, grpahics, and page layout can be easily changed without changing a single line of code in the application. Many layout options, placements, and colors can be set by a simple menu selection. As an example of how easy it is to change web site appearance, select one of our standard templates using the template chooser function to the right.
For production sites, you can use on of the standard layouts, or we can start with a standard layout and quickly make desired custom modifications. This approach maximizes efficiency in website development, minimizes costs, and provides an easy path to future desired changes.

If you've read anything at all about e-communities and knowledge networks you probably know at least three things: (1) they are an exciting way to network and share knowledge; (2) they can be quite difficult to create and manage; and (3) they often required unaffordably expensive and complicated software.
Controlled content is simply articles written by community members and submitted for review and publication in the DyKIDo platform through a work flow process. This process begins with a submittal by a member approved as an author and includes review and approval by an editor role, and then final approval and placement by a publisher role. Thus articles represent the most controlled content of the community. When articles are submitted, designated members of the editor and publisher roles are automatically notified of a pending article for approval. This workflow is fully automatic.
DyKIDo! (Dynamic Knowledge and Information Domain) is a complete and functionally rich platform for creating and managing web based e-communities. Suitable DyKIDo applications include business applications ranging from internal intranet employee and group project sites to external web sites for customer relations, marketing, and e-commerce.
Members of the community have the ability to submit content and contribute to the shared knowledge resources in the form of contacts, web links, and documents, as well as have the ability to participate in discussion forums, and contribute to the community wiki. The ability to contribute to these various sections can be limited and controlled as well as configured to require moderation and approval of any content before it is published.
