Articles are topically arranged into sections and categories, where each section contains multiple categories, and each category contains multiple articles, creating a hierarchical structure. Submitted articles must be assigned to a section and category to be published, and currently a single article can exist in only one category (and section) at a time. When artciles are published, they can be assigned an optional start date and / or expiration date. Published articles will not be visible before the start date (if assigned) and will automatically be archived after the expiration date (if assigned). The section menu provides a top level listing of all of the active (published) sections currently defined for this DyKIDo. New sections and categories are created by members with administrator and/or publisher rights. |

Controlled content is simply articles written by community members and submitted for review and publication in the DyKIDo platform through a work flow process. This process begins with a submittal by a member approved as an author and includes review and approval by an editor role, and then final approval and placement by a publisher role. Thus articles represent the most controlled content of the community. When articles are submitted, designated members of the editor and publisher roles are automatically notified of a pending article for approval. This workflow is fully automatic.
